The Eastern Greene Volleyball team came up short on the road Tuesday night, falling to Orleans 3–1. The Thunderbirds battled throughout the match, taking the opening set 25–22, but the Bulldogs responded to win the next three, 25–19, 26–24, 25–17. In JV action, Orleans won in two sets, 25–18, 25–14. With the loss, EG Varsity moves to 4–4 on the season. The Thunderbirds will look to bounce back Wednesday night at home against a tough Shoals team (7–1).
