Eastern Greene High School

The Eastern Greene boys’ soccer team moved to 2-0-2 on the season after playing to a hard-fought 2–2 tie against Lighthouse Christian Academy on Saturday morning. The Thunderbirds struck early, with Ethan Moffitt finding the back of the net to put EG on the board. Later, Jett Blais added another goal to give the Thunderbirds momentum heading into the second half. Eastern Greene held the lead late into the match, but Lighthouse Christian managed to score in the closing minutes to even the game at 2–2. Despite the tough finish, the Thunderbirds continued to show strong offensive play and solid ball movement, keeping their unbeaten streak alive through the first four games of the season. The Thunderbirds will be back in action on Tuesday at Seven Oaks before hosting their home tournament on Saturday.
