2025 Eastern Greene Girls Golf Preview – Senior Spotlight: Jadelynn Lyons As the Eastern Greene Girls Golf team tees off for the 2025 fall season, senior leader Jadelynn Lyons is ready to make her final year a memorable one — both on the course and in the friendships she cherishes. “My personal goals for my senior season are to be the best that I can be and still show my support for my school,” Lyons shared. That commitment has shown throughout the summer, as she dedicated time to practicing and even invested in new equipment to help improve her game. Representing Eastern Greene one last time means a great deal to the senior golfer. “I’ve had a great experience here for my high school years,” she said. “I’m most excited to be with the girls, have fun, and spend time with the best team.” The team’s chemistry is one of its strengths, with Lyons noting, “We all get along and are all friends.” She especially looks forward to the first match — a bittersweet “last first game” of her career. Lyons’ favorite memories from her time in the program aren’t about scores or standings, but the moments spent together. “Being able to hang out with the girls and enjoy my time with them without any drama” stands out as a highlight. As she prepares to hand the program to the next group, Lyons hopes to leave behind her “good attitude” and “love for the sport.” To younger players, her advice is simple but heartfelt: “Always try your best. Enjoy the time you have while playing sports. I feel like I was just at my first practice, and now I have done my last first practice.” Her biggest influence has been her family, who have supported her at every match. “Every match I see my family watching me, and when I get home my parents ask how practice went. I try to make myself the best for them.” With strong team chemistry, dedicated preparation, and a senior leader who values both performance and relationships, the Eastern Greene Girls Golf team is set to make this season one to remember.
